ST. MARGARET MARY STUDENT COUNCIL
The Student Council consists of eleven Executive Officers. Elections are conducted in the second week of May and a formal induction is performed at the liturgy on the last day of school. They are joined at monthly meetings by the elected classroom representatives of each grade. Members of the Student Council are given responsibilities, and the purpose of the council is to get student involvement and input for school projects and issues. These Students must maintain a passing grade and conduct ratings in order to be considered for positions on the student council.
The Student Council strives to donate to local charities and school enhancement projects. The greatest benefit of the St. Margaret School Student Council is the lifetime skills learned in leadership, organization and teamwork and service to others. The majority of their fundraising is done through candy sales, Valentine balloon orders and school dances.
